C/C++ Senior Developer

? The ideal candidate must have prior experience with building sell-side financial system and market data dissemination platforms.
? The candidate must understand a diverse set of threading, I/O, and latency hiding techniques.
? The candidate must also understand how to optimize data structures for cache-locality and how to isolate and identify parallelization opportunities in the data path.
? The candidate must have a fully developed understanding of network communications such as TCP, UDP, sockets, and interrupts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with 29West's messaging libraries.
? The ideal candidate should understand NUMA architectures, processor affinity, memory and cache hierarchies, and other basic system architecture required to minimize the latency effects of a real-time systems.
? The candidate must know how to diagnose application performance issues by examining the compiler generated assembly and examining the output of VTune, or the equivalent.
? Knowledge and understand of processor affinity, the OS scheduler, and interrupts are a must.
