Senior Developer - C#

Our company is a specialized business and technology consultancy focusing on the Hedge Fund and Asset Management market. We offer strategic & tactical consulting services and deliver best practice solutions for Executive, Investment and Operations Professionals within these asset management and related firms. These solutions, which we implement either in concert with or in the absence of in-house technologists, help our clients address operational, analytical and reporting challenges and typically involve portfolio/position management, data warehousing & reporting (P&L/performance, risk, exposure), accounting, settlements, content/document management and many additional front, middle and back office processes

Our project based consulting approach emphasis smaller teams of high-caliber specialists who have been selected from a strict criteria, trained and developed to deliver high quality, front office trading, risk, and portfolio analysis solutions. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Developer to work on Financial Services and Alternative Investments applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide senior level analysis, architecture, design, and development skills
Familiarity with the applications used by buy side/hedge funds relating to OMS, accounting and portfolio management.
Familiar with all aspects of SDLC and multi-tier technology including desktop and database.
Function as Sr. technical resource and work with minimal supervision
Understand multiple technologies and assimilate easily into new technologies
Assume some client management responsibilities
Provide interpersonal and client interaction skills to ensure the success of your engagements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Finance or Engineering..
5+ years of professional experience
C#, .NET (preferably WinForms); C++;Grid controls (Xceed or NetAdvantage). Understanding of SOA a plus but not necessary.
Strong Database (SQL) Development Skills
Full Life Cycle business application development experience with strong architecture, design, and development
Excellent testing and data reconciliation skills
Ability to lead a small, talented team of developers on a project
Strong verbal and written communication skills
