Customer Connectivity Testing Analyst, Quality Management

Description:
Individual is responsible for the testing and certification of FIX and API client connections. Individual will liaise with client contacts to support new client implementations. A strong understanding of FIX, API and the certification process is required.
Responsibilities:


Adhere to formal QA standards, processes and procedures
Design & implement test scenarios & cases for FIX connectivity and API connectivity
Develop and maintain Customer Connectivity Certification test strategy and test plan
Work with Interface Testing Manager and project stakeholders to define criteria and metrics for evaluating certification test results
Develop, document and test operational procedures with relevant team(s)
Identify connectivity-testing risks and help develop mitigation strategies
Provide input to QM Post-Mortems
Continuously monitor the network and all routing activity via FIX connections during the testing process
Act as a Subject Matter Expert on FIX, API, and Client Connections and FIX certification
Coordinate and document client requests to modify existing products or services
Configure the FIX gateways to connect to clients
Troubleshoot and document connectivity issues
Qualifications:
4-6 years of Quality Assurance experience with extensive experience in FIX and API Certification testing
Domain Knowledge of the financial/market data world
Ability to Interface with external clients
Highly proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Access)
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and oral communications skills
Knowledge of UNIX preferred
4-year degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Networking background is a plus
