Dental Assistant responsibilities include setting up and breaking down room and equipment, preparing patient for treatment, documenting in the electronic dental record, preparing laboratory cases, proper infection prevention practices, and other duties as assigned.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of tray set-up, sterilization of instrumentsPassage and receipt of instrumentsDocument treatment related information in patient's electronic chartMixing of cements, amalgam, and impression materialsOral evacuation and retractionExposing and developing of dental radiographsTaking blood pressure and oral temperatureSeating, preparing, and dismissing patientsInventory controlRoutine maintenance of equipmentOperatory preparation and clean-upResponsibly follows the Clinic Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.All other duties as assigned.Benefits Overview:Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage: Three comprehensive plan options (Buy-up, Base, and High Deductible) through UnitedHealthcare's Choice Plus network, covering various deductibles and out-of-pocket limits.
