Activities Aide

A healthcare facility in Granville, NY, is seeking an Activity Aide for our skilled nursing facility.

DUTIES:

Implement activity programs for residents with a focus on individual interests

Work directly with residents on units with minimal supervision

Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as needed

Assist recreation staff and set up program areas

Maintain daily attendance and document resident participation

Escort residents to and from activities

Follow all established safety and emergency procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

Positive attitude and high energy required

Experience working with a geriatric population preferred

Strong computer skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Strong organizational and multitasking skills
