Bay Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician with a strong focus in dentistry to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who is passionate about veterinary dental care and eager to fully utilize their anesthesia, radiology, and dental procedure expertise while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
In this role, you will:- Perform comprehensive dental procedures, including prophylaxis, full-mouth dental radiographs, charting, and assisting with advanced dental treatments and extractions
- Provide exceptional patient care throughout dental and surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation, and recovery
- Ensure efficient dental workflow, anticipating the needs of the veterinarian and maintaining a high standard of care and organization
- Accurately document dental findings and contribute to treatment planning and case management
- Communicate with clients to review dental disease, treatment plans, home care, and discharge instructions with empathy and clarity
- Contribute to dental case success and efficiency, with the opportunity to earn production-based compensation on dental procedures
This role is ideal for:Detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about dentistry, take pride in precision and patient advocacy, and are excited to grow their dental skillset in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
This is a full-time, position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, and some weekend coverage as needed.
Full-time benefits and compensation :- Compensation: $33-35 per hour, for each hour worked
- Additional earning potential through production on dental procedures
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophy and radiographs
- Advanced Dentistry Techniques
