How you'll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an Adult focused Palliative Care Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

  • Join a growing and collegial team
  • Call structure: 1 night/week, 1 weekend/month
  • Practice setting: Inpatient
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Care Medicine
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Schedule can be flexible (5- 8hr days, or 4- 10hr days), no nights or weekends
    required
  • Education and attending patient rounds, inpatient consults

About the Facility/Team

  • 840 bed hospital
  • Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Serves diverse, statewide population primarily focusing on Marion County while acting as a referral center for all 92 Indiana counties.

  • As a Level 1 Trauma Center, leading Cardiovascular, Stroke and Oncology programs, we work with
    exceptional, highly skilled clinicians to provide the best, most appropriate care to patients with complex
    diagnoses.

    specialists, PCPs, Palliative Care teams and Hospice.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
