Position: Registered Dietitian

Location: Bronx, NY 10451

Job Type: Contract

Contract: 13 weeks with strong possibility of extension

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 5 days/week

Guaranteed hours per week: 40.00

Pay: Up to $2100/weekly


Job Summary

Pride Health is seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian for a contract opportunity in Bronx, NY. The Dietitian will assess patient nutritional needs, provide education on diet and food/drug interactions, and collaborate with healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.


Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and determine patient dietary needs

• Monitor and educate patients on food and drug interactions

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans

• Collaborate with physicians to recommend appropriate diet modifications

• Interview patients and families to gather dietary history and preferences

• Interpret lab results and medical data related to nutrition care

• Provide nutrition counseling and document patient education

• Modify patient menus based on clinical needs

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of care


Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or related field

• Registered Dietitian (CDR) certification required

• Minimum 1 year of experience (2+ years preferred)

• Experience in outpatient settings

• Experience working with dialysis patients

• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills


Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field

• New York State Dietitian-Nutritionist Certification

• BLS Certification
