Experienced RNs Preferred! Charge Nurse Position Available in Unit
Mercy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU). In this role, you will provide high quality, patient centered care to adults with complex medical conditions who require frequent assessments, continuous monitoring, and specialized nursing support. Our MPCU team delivers exceptional care in a collaborative, mission driven environment aligned with Mercy's values of service, dignity, justice, excellence, and stewardship.
Position Details:Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in medical progressive care, medical surgical, telemetry, or other progressive/acute care settings.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtained within a specified timeframe).
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (if applicable to patient population or unit protocols).
