Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs diagnostic scans and procedures using applied principles and protocols, interviews and prepares patients for procedures,

obtains pertinent history/diagnosis, operates all equipment proficiently, reports mechanical issues to appropriate contact,

knowledgeable of anatomy and pathology, ability to start IV s and completes IV competency course, good working relationship with Radiologists and co Team Members. Follows compliance guidelines by diligently verifying clinical information, including appropriate patient-tech data sheet for allergies and creatinine lab work, contrast informed consent, and communicates any issues with Radiologists, Residents and/or referring physicians. Practices Error Prevention techniques, including but not limited to: verifying patient ID by 2 means, "repeat backs
