HCA Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Emergency Room Belton to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced hospital environment. As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will triage and manage patients experiencing a wide range of urgent and emergent medical conditions, collaborating closely with emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to stabilize, treat, and support patients and their families. Working in our Belton emergency department, you will perform comprehensive assessments, rapidly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols, and use evidence-based clinical judgment to prioritize care. You will initiate and manage IV therapy, monitor cardiac rhythms, support airway and respiratory needs, coordinate diagnostic testing, and prepare patients for procedures or transfer to higher levels of care. Documentation will be thorough and timely within the electronic health record, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
In this role, you will actively participate in emergency department throughput efforts, including efficient triage, admission, discharge, and patient flow processes, while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and infection prevention standards. You will collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff to create a supportive, efficient, and respectful environment, contributing to interdisciplinary care planning and communicating clearly with patients and families during stressful and emotionally charged situations. You will follow hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and professional nursing standards, and you will engage in ongoing learning, skills validation, and performance improvement initiatives.
