Customer Service Specialist

Large distribution firm in the north west suburbs is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join their expanding team. The organization has been in business for 40 years and has 4 distribution centers in the US with approximately 100 employees. The customer service team consists of 4 individuals and the company has a well respected name in the business.
$55,000 per year to $65,000 per year

Daily Responsibilities of the Customer Service Specialist Position:

• The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible forOrder entry - receiving orders via phone, sales reps, email. company utilizes Microsoft Navision
• ongoing communication between sales reps and vendors on order status
• expediting orders
• The Customer Service Specialist will be facilitating and resolving customer issues

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist with:

• A minimum of 3+years of customer service experience from a similar distributor or manufacturer
• experience entering orders and communicating with vendors and sales professionals on order status
• Resolving issues with orders in transit
• Strong Customer Service mindset
• Hands on experience utilizing Microsoft Excel
