SOUTHERN HEALTH PARTNERS INC is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor for Correctional Healthcare to lead and support nursing services within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will oversee daily clinical operations in a correctional facility setting, ensuring safe, high‑quality medical, dental, and psychiatric care for incarcerated individuals while maintaining strict compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. The RN Clinical Supervisor provides direct and indirect patient care, performs nursing assessments, triage, medication administration, wound care, chronic disease management, and emergency response, while also supervising and mentoring nursing staff, coordinating schedules, and supporting performance evaluations. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, mental health professionals, and facility leadership to develop and implement care plans, infection control practices, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and facility safety. The ideal candidate is a confident clinical leader with strong correctional or acute care experience, comfortable working autonomously in a secure environment and making sound clinical judgments in urgent and emergent situations. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and complete documentation, maintaining medication and supply inventories, participating in audits and inspections, and promoting adherence to clinical protocols and security procedures. You will play a key role in staff onboarding, training, and continuing education, fostering a culture of teamwork, compassion, and professionalism that aligns with Southern Health Partners’ mission.
