Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax planning and compliance, preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, and working with clients to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. As a Tax Senior, you will work closely with the Tax Manager and other tax professionals to provide exceptional service to clients and help them achieve their tax-related goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Research tax issues and develop tax planning strategies for clients.
Communicate with clients to gather information and respond to inquiries related to tax returns and tax planning strategies.
Assist with tax audits and other tax-related inquiries from the IRS or state tax authorities.
Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff, and provide guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
Work with partners and other managers to develop and implement tax strategies for clients.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell other services to existing clients and participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
Maintain a thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations, and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Maintain a positive and professional image for the firm in all interactions with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
At least 3 years of experience in tax planning and compliance, including experience preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and work effectively with staff and other stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
