Overnight Facilities Associate
LifeBridge Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Associate to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in our Maryland facilities. As a key member of an interdisciplinary behavioral health care team, the Mental Health Associate supports psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across inpatient units, outpatient programs, and community-based settings. In this role, you will provide direct patient support, including observing and documenting patient behavior, assisting with activities of daily living as appropriate, and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment for individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions. You will help implement treatment and safety plans, assist with group and individual psychoeducational activities under licensed staff direction, and participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches. The Mental Health Associate will monitor vital signs and report changes in patient status, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic medical records, and collaborate closely with the care team to support discharge planning and continuity of care. You will engage with patients and families with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity, modeling professional boundaries and therapeutic communication at all times. This position requires strong observational skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining a calm, supportive presence.
