Imaging Technician
Pride Health is hiring an Imaging Technician to support our client's medical facility in Tampa, FL. This is a 3+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Title: Imaging Technician
Location:Tampa, FL 33617
Pay Rate: $18 - $19.78/hr. on W2.
Shift: 3rd shift Tuesday-Saturday 12am-830am
Duration: 3+ months
Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
Position Requirements
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Knowledge of lab requisitions and document handling
- Understanding of PHI/privacy and compliance standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing work needs
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and process requisition forms
- Deliver documents to departments (Imaging, Billing, etc.)
- Identify and resolve issues (missing labels, damaged forms)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Follow all safety, compliance, and company policies
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Requires standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Work in biohazard conditions with safety compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Production or similar work experience (preferred)
- Basic computer system knowledge
