Duties

• Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature with precision and care
• Support physicians with strong communication and assistance
• Assist with medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Administer medications or injections under supervision in accordance with established protocols including B-12 and mixing powder to liquid injectable medications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
• Assist with patient education on medication administration or health maintenance strategies

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a medical assistant, or similar responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology
• Familiarity with EHR systems
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations
• Strong organizational skills to manage intake processes, vital signs collection, medication administration support and documentation efficiently
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Medical Assistant certification (preferred)
• Must pass a background check and drug test
