Role Description

The Physician Assistant will work full-time on-site in our San Antonio, TX locations to provide high-quality medical care to patients with orthopaedic conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, assisting in surgical procedures, developing treatment plans, managing follow-up care, and providing patient education. The Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure effective and compassionate care delivery.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for musculoskeletal conditions
  • Experience assisting in surgical procedures and managing pre-operative and post-operative care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced on-site healthcare environment
  • Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas
  • Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Previous experience in orthopaedics, sports medicine, or a related medical specialty is preferred
  • Commitment to patient care and maintaining high ethical standards
