Physician Assistant

SpineSearch is working with a leading spine and pain practice in Palm Beach County is seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its interventional pain management team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, outpatient-focused environment dedicated to advanced, minimally invasive spine care and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Position Overview:

The provider will play a key role in managing patients with acute and chronic spine conditions, working closely with a supervising physician in both clinic and procedural settings.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00/8:30 AM - 4:30/4:45 PM (last patient), with typical departure around 5:30 PM
• Primarily based in Boca Raton with additional coverage in surrounding Palm Beach County locations
• Occasional procedural support (approximately 2 days per month) at a local surgical suite

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and focused spine assessments
• Order and interpret imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray)
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Perform or assist with joint and trigger point injections
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
• Manage medications in accordance with Florida guidelines
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Collaborate closely with the physician and clinical team

Patient Volume:

• Average of 25-30 patients per day
• Independent schedule with physician support onsite

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Florida PA or APRN license
• Board certification required
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• 1-2+ years of experience in interventional pain, orthopedic spine, neurosurgery, or PM&R preferred
• Strong musculoskeletal knowledge and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient-facing skills
