Nurse Manager

Bethesda Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead clinical operations within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will oversee a team of nurses and clinical staff, ensuring safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care for a diverse patient population. You will coordinate daily unit activities, manage staffing and scheduling, and promote evidence-based nursing practice while aligning with Bethesda Health’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and patient safety. The Nurse Manager is responsible for supervising and mentoring nursing staff, guiding performance evaluations, and supporting professional development to maintain a highly skilled, engaged team. You will collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary providers, and administrative leaders to optimize workflows, improve patient outcomes, and support seamless transitions of care. This position also manages key aspects of budget and resource utilization, monitors quality metrics, and leads initiatives to reduce errors, enhance patient satisfaction, and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Nurse Manager will help implement new clinical protocols and technologies, champion best practices in infection control and risk management, and foster a culture of open communication, respect, and continuous improvement.
