Sales Analyst About the Role

Our client is seeking a Sales Analyst to support business and sales leaders through high‑quality reporting, data analysis, and actionable insights. This role plays a key part in improving the consistency, accuracy, and availability of sales data while translating business needs into effective reporting and analytics solutions.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, partnering cross‑functionally, and contributing directly to business decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Sales Analyst
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial leaders to understand reporting and analytics needs
  • Develop, maintain, and standardize sales reports and dashboards aligned with business priorities
  • Deliver accurate and timely standard and ad‑hoc sales reporting and analysis
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, variances, and outliers, and provide clear explanations and insights
  • Respond to field inquiries related to sales performance metrics, historical trends, and account‑ or product‑level data
  • Maintain and update healthcare facility affiliations (e.g., acute care, long‑term care, government) and align them to parent organizations such as IDNs and GPOs
  • Document reporting processes and support consistent reporting best practices across the sales organization
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and other teams to understand data sources and improve reporting quality
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to support efficiency and profitability
  • Present reporting insights and recommendations to leadership as needed
  • Assist with training and support of end users on reporting tools and dashboards
Qualifications for the Sales Analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales reporting, finance, sales support, or data analysis
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, working with large datasets)
  • Experience working with ERP systems and reporting databases
  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus (Power BI preferred)
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, changing environment
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
  • Healthcare or medical device industry experience is a plus, but not required
  • Proactive, hands‑on mindset with a positive, service‑oriented approach
