PLANT CONTROLLER

Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 Base + Bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PLANT CONTROLLER ROLE:

• Partners with plant operations in analysis and performance improvement recommendations for manufacturing and inventory improvements
• Oversee (4) plant locations
• Prepare, maintain and distribute weekly and monthly performance scorecards, track plant KPI’s on a weekly/monthly basis
• Prepare, maintain and distribute weekly and monthly detailed yield reports by category
• Act as a resource with sites to lead on cost savings project development and investment justification
• With the plant management team, coordinate the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, as per direction from the Director
• Maintain and update cost system, BOMs, routings, and develop annual cost standards for existing and new SKU’s
• Maintain, update and track monthly CI savings in the ERP Software
• Evaluates risk and opportunities to improve plant efficiencies
• Reconciles inventory and adequately prepare reserves for obsolescence. Create monthly RFA requests for material disposition
• Supports Internal Controls and Audits

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PLANT CONTROLLER:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a related field; MBA Preferred; CPA/CMA welcomed
• Cost Accounting experience - 3+ Years within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to present to Leadership
• Large ERP Experience
• Standard Product costing experience
• Experience with inventory controls/process improvements
