Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Norfolk, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist ~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional ~ Start Date: 06/01/2026 ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~40 hours per week ~ Shift: 10 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Days | 10-hour shifts | 40 hrs/week + call Minimum Requirements Graduate of CAAHEP or ASCP/SCP accredited program (preferred) Bachelor’s degree in biology, anatomy, physiology, or related field (preferred) Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred) RCIS required If ARRT → VA license required RCIS only → no state license required ACLS/PALS per contract Current CPR certification Compliance with HIPAA and professional standards Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements Completion of Amergis competency program (if applicable) Health requirements: TB screening (PPD or chest x-ray if applicable) Current health certificate (per state/contract) Technical & Clinical Requirements Must scrub and monitor Experience with: Claris system (required) EPIC EMR (required) Cardiac pacing systems Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with care team Computer proficiency required About Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied Amergis, formerly known as Maxim Healthcare Staffing, has connected the nation’s top talent to a variety of healthcare and educational partners since 1988.
