Equity Staffing is recruiting a dedicated Travel Physical Therapist serving patients in Russellville, KY

Coverage Areas: Logan and Todd

Schedule & Details:

• Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• On-Call: None
• Mileage Reimbursement: Yes (between patient visits)

Top Responsibilities:

• Perform in-home patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled physical therapy to improve mobility, strength, balance, and pain management
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed
• Complete accurate, timely documentation (including OASIS) per Medicare guidelines
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and agency standards
• Manage daily schedule and travel within assigned territory

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)
• Active, unrestricted PT license
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience (home health preferred)
• Knowledge of Medicare/home health regulations and documentation standards
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills:

• Home health or community-based experience
• EMR/OASIS documentation experience
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience with geriatrics and chronic disease management
• Ability to build rapport with patients and caregivers
• Bilingual skills (if applicable)
• Interest in mentoring or training others
