About the Position

We are seeking experienced CDL A Float Drivers for temporary to permanent positions in Livonia, Michigan. This role involves operating automatic trucks with liftgates and manual pallet jacks. The pay starts at $267.50 per day, unless route pay is more.

Pay & Schedule
  • Pay: $267.50 Per Day
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with travel out on Monday mornings and returning home on Saturdays
Job Details
  • Equipment: Automatic trucks with liftgates and manual pallet jacks
  • Travel: Must be able to travel in personal car to location; mileage reimbursement and hourly pay for travel time provided
  • Accommodations: Hotels booked for travel
  • Flexibility: Candidates need to be flexible for vacation and call-out coverage
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate automatic trucks with liftgates and manual pallet jacks
  • Travel to designated areas as needed
  • Provide vacation and call-out coverage
  • Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of freight
Minimum Requirements
  • Valid CDL A
  • 6-12 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
