Ability Beyond is seeking a <b>Development Operations Data Manager</b> to power our fundraising efforts through strong systems, clean data, and exceptional donor stewardship.</span></div><div ><span > </span></div><div ><span >In this highly collaborative role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our donors have a seamless, high-quality experience - while equipping our Development team with the data, tools, and insights they need to succeed.</span></div><div ><span > </span></div><div ><b><span >What You’ll Do</span></b></div><div ><span >As our Development Operations Data Manager, you will serve as the backbone of our fundraising infrastructure:</span></div><ul ><li ><em><span >Lead Gift Processing & Data Integrity</span><span > </span></em></li><ul ><li ><span >Manage all gift processing across Raiser’s Edge NXT and digital giving platforms</span></li><li ><span >Ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to internal controls</span></li></ul><li ><em><span >Own Fundraising Systems & Reporting</span><span > </span></em></li><ul ><li ><span >Maintain and optimize donor records, queries, reports, and dashboards</span></li><li ><span >Generate lists for appeals, events, and stewardship activities</span></li><li ><span >Partner with Development staff to provide data insights that support fundraising strategy</span></li></ul><li ><em><span >Drive Financial Alignment & Audit Readiness</span><span > </span></em></li><ul ><li ><span >Act as the primary liaison between Development and Finance</span></li><li ><span >Support reconciliation processes, year-end close, and annual audit preparation</span></li><li ><span >Oversee pledge tracking, donor invoicing, and year-end giving statements</span></li></ul><li ><em><span >Manage Raiser’s Edge NXT</span><span > </span></em></li><ul ><li ><span >Maintain database health, data standards, and best practices</span></li><li ><span >Provide user support and training to team members</span></li><li ><span >Troubleshoot system issues and improve workflows</span></li></ul><li ><em><span >Enhance Donor Experience</span><span > </span></em></li><ul ><li ><span >Ensure timely and accurate gift acknowledgments and receipts</span></li><li ><span >Respond to donor inquiries with professionalism and care</span></li><li ><span >Support seamless donor communications and engagement tracking</span></li></ul><li ><em><span >Strengthen Data Processes</span><span > </span></em></li><ul ><li ><span >Continuously improve database structure and workflows</span></li><li ><span >Prepare targeted mailing lists for appeals, events, and outreach campaigns</span></li></ul></ul><div ><b><span >What You Bring</span></b></div><ul ><li ><span >5+ years of experience in fundraising operations, gift processing, or database management</span></li><li ><span >Hands-on expertise with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT (required; certification a plus)</span></li><li ><span >Strong proficiency in Excel and data management tools</span></li><li ><span >Demonstrated experience handling complex revenue tracking and reconciliation</span></li><li ><span >Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills</span></li><li ><span >Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy</span></li><li ><span >Clear communicator who can translate complex data into actionable insights</span></li><li ><span >A collaborative, “can-do” mindset with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity</span></li></ul><div ><span > </span></div><div ><b><span >Why Join Ability Beyond?</span></b></div><div ><span >At Ability Beyond, your work directly contributes to meaningful impact.
