Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Medicine
to join our
Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
team. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-acuity critical care within a collaborative academic environment. The physician will provide care for
post-operative and critically ill surgical patients , working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, residents, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive critical care management for SICU patients
Provide perioperative and post-operative critical care support
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers (if applicable)
Participate in call coverage as assigned
Qualifications MD or DO
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in
Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine
Eligible for or licensed to practice in the state of Florida
Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care
Interest in academic medicine, teaching, or clinical research preferred
Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in perioperative management for solid organ transplantation or neurocritical care
