Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Location: Jackson, MI 49201 Duration: 13+ weeks contract (Possible Extension) Schedule Notes: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM every other weekend, 3 x 12s Job Summary: Under supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, provides life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gas therapy. Performs diagnostic procedures for ICU and general care patients, documents care, and communicates with the healthcare team. May supervise and guide staff, students, and externs. Key Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapies and life-support care. Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures. Monitor and document patient care accurately. Communicate with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff. Supervise and support respiratory staff and trainees. Complete patient billing documentation. Education & Licensure: Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (required). Bachelor's degree preferred. Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist license. BLS certification. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience. Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
