Location: Morris Plains, NJ | Payrate: $27 - $30 | Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 10 AM : 6:30 PM EST & Sunday to Thursday, 10 AM : 6:30 PM EST

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Cell Management Specialist to support a world-leading innovative medicines organization at the forefront of advanced therapies. From receiving patient apheresis materials to packaging final products for delivery, your work will directly contribute to the safe, accurate, and timely production of therapies that can transform lives.

What You’ll Do

As a Cell Management Specialist, you’ll support essential operations that keep manufacturing and patient processing moving seamlessly.

Core Responsibilities

  • Follow all governing SOPs, work procedures, and batch records with a strong focus on Right-First-Time performance.

  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry in operational systems.

  • Ensure manufacturing support areas remain audit-ready at all times.

  • Provide “flow to the work” support, assisting where needed to maintain operational continuity.

  • Perform equipment cleaning and routine maintenance in accordance with SOP requirements.

  • Escalate and help resolve compliance or safety concerns when observed.

  • Use systems such as LIMS, SAP, and MES to track materials, data, and operations.

  • Support monthly and annual cycle counts and inventory verification.

  • Participate in site initiatives, team projects, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Maintain accurate SAP/MES inventory records for all components and properly segregate conditioned materials.


Key Operational Activities

You’ll also support critical material management and patient product handling, including:

  • Receiving and inspecting incoming leukapheresis materials

  • Coordinating Day 0 apheresis transfers for patient processing

  • Packaging and shipping final therapy products

  • Harvesting and storing final products from scheduled patient processing

  • Verifying inventory accuracy across GMP and non-GMP LN2 storage locations

  • Ensuring all materials, documentation, and supplies are available to prevent workflow delays

  • Coordinating shipping, receiving, storage, and processing of materials, including potential import/export logistics

  • Communicating with internal and external partners to resolve operational issues quickly


Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a cGMP/FDA regulated industry (warehouse or material handling experience preferred)

  • High School Diploma required

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently

  • Comfortable working in a regulated environment with strict documentation standards

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance

  • Ability to safely handle chemicals, solvents, corrosives, and biohazardous materials


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field

  • Experience with inventory management systems such as LIMS, SAP, or MES

  • Background in biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or advanced therapy manufacturing

Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
