Seeking Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join fantastic team for outpatient role in El Centro, CA.Provides primary healthcare in collaboration with physicians, and under the general supervision of the Outpatient Center medical directors. Manages selected cases according to established protocols. Prepares case histories, medical reports and other records. Prepares treatment plans. Orders x-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Writes prescriptions according to protocols. Refers acute and chronic care patients. Conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools and laboratory tests. Provides patient education counseling. Performs other duties as requested by physicians or clinic director.Hospital is affiliated with UC San Diego Health Care Network, a collective of health care providers including UC San Diego Health and faculty physicians, community hospitals, medical groups and physicians based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties.Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• California Nurse Practitioner
• California Nurse Practitioner Furnisher Number
• DEA Registration (Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of Diversion Control)
• CPR American Heart Association Compensation & Benefits:
