We are seeking an Outside Sales Engineer to enhance our High Voltage Maintenance (HVM) division. HVM specializes in electrical engineering and testing, offering a wide range of maintenance, testing, and engineering services across various sectors, including utilities, data centers, renewable energy, and both commercial and industrial markets. This role will report to the Regional Sales Manager for the Cleveland region and will be responsible for providing both sales and technical assistance to all sales personnel in the area. The Outside Sales Engineer will focus on acquiring new clients while nurturing relationships with existing key accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct regular sales visits to current clients and build connections with prospective customers.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to clients.
  • Prepare proposals and service contracts for HVM’s offerings and repair services.
  • Collaborate with the Service Center Manager and clients to coordinate and schedule work.
  • Enhance sales through active involvement in trade shows and professional organizations.
  • Partner with the Business Administrator to create weekly invoices and monthly progress reports.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
  • Completion of an Electrical Technical School program.
  • Military certification combined with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience may be considered equivalent to the educational requirement.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Up to 75% travel within the designated Cleveland territory.
  • A company vehicle will be provided.

WORK AUTHORIZATION:

The expected salary range for this position in the Cleveland, OH area is between $94,800 and $118,450 annually, plus a Sales Incentive Plan. Salary ranges may differ for other geographic locations. Certain roles may qualify for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonuses, and stock options, based on individual performance and role specifics. Additionally, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, disability, paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401k plan.
