Expected Schedule
This is a full-time role.
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, featuring a 4-day work week with one weekday and weekends off; final schedule to be discussed during the interview
- Some holidays will be required
Compensation
- Starting at $25-34/hr, based on experience

Your Role
As an Oncology Veterinary Technician, you will collaborate closely with our board-certified oncologists to support patients throughout their treatment journey, from diagnosis to chemotherapy and follow-up care. You will provide a steady, compassionate presence for both patients and their families.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications and chemotherapy under the guidance of an oncologist
- Assisting with diagnostics, including lab work, imaging, and CT scans
- Supporting oncology appointments and managing patient flow and scheduling
- Maintaining accurate medical records, treatment notes, and drug logs
- Providing empathetic communication and education to clients
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology
- Delivering emotional support and patient-centered care throughout the treatment process
- Licensed or credentialed veterinary technician, or an experienced veterinary assistant
- Experience in specialty medicine and/or oncology is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Confidence in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
- Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) is a plus
- A positive attitude and dedication to compassionate care
