Job Overview and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in coordinating and providing exceptional, patient-focused care tailored to the specific needs of the department. This role aligns with the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other care team members, the RN delivers personalized, thorough, and compassionate care by employing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN also acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes that enhance overall departmental performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification must be obtained within 6 months of starting employment
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Registered Nurse Diploma
  • This is a full-time NIGHT position
  • Previous experience in Labor and Delivery is required
