Our organization is in search of a board-certified or board-eligible Adult Cardiac Surgeon to become a part of our expanding academic cardiac surgery program. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience in adult cardiac surgery, covering areas such as coronary revascularization, valvular disease, aortic pathology, and complex surgical interventions. The successful individual will actively contribute to the advancement of the Cardiac Surgery program while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care.
This role includes an academic appointment at our institution, with the rank determined by experience, and offers significant opportunities for involvement in teaching, quality initiatives, and clinical collaboration.

MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Adult Cardiac Surgery
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience following fellowship training
Clinically focused with research experience and teaching capabilities suitable for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor
Leadership qualities are highly regarded
Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care
Proven experience in adult cardiac surgical procedures
Ability to provide a current operative case log
Capability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, surgery fellows, and other healthcare professionals
Eligibility for academic appointment and medical licensure in New York State
A competitive base salary range of $458,000 - $635,000 based on academic rank, with additional incentive pay after the first year of employment
