Our organization is seeking a reliable and safety-oriented Company Driver to transport freight within our regional routes. We provide consistent miles, a supportive team environment, and a transparent pay structure that acknowledges the contributions of safe and experienced drivers.

Location: Argos, IN! Enjoy drop and hook on the front end, with live unloading on the back. Routes include Bolingbrook and Fort Wayne!

Compensation:

  • Argos to Bolingbrook: $190 per load, with up to 2 loads daily from Monday to Friday.
  • Argos to Fort Wayne: 3 loads per day at $130 per load, Monday through Friday.

Equipment:

Our fleet of International LT trucks is fully equipped with amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator, television, premium driver's seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU) to enhance your comfort while on the road.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive Class A tractor-trailers to deliver freight, general goods, and specialized cargo.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; promptly report any defects, accidents, or violations.
  • Load, secure, and inspect cargo; adhere to special handling protocols for hazardous materials or temperature-sensitive shipments.
  • Maintain accurate Hours of Service (HOS) logs and all necessary DOT/FMCSA documentation.
  • Verify bills of lading, collect signatures and receipts, ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate.
  • Plan routes and schedules to adhere to pickup and delivery timelines.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep the trailer clean and prepared.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Class A CDL with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience — required.
  • HazMat endorsement is preferred but not mandatory.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • TWIC card is preferred but not essential.
  • Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical standards.
