With 22 locations across 12 cities, we serve over 67,000 individuals annually in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, offering a wide range of healthcare and social services, including primary and specialized medical care, retail pharmacy, dental services, behavioral health, HIV/STI prevention, advocacy, and community health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver top-notch outpatient medical services by evaluating healthcare needs, conducting physical exams, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, diagnosing conditions, and prescribing both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments, including controlled substances and hormone therapy.
  • Educate patients on topics related to Transgender Health, HIV, primary care concerns, and medication adherence strategies.
  • Provide culturally sensitive healthcare to all patients, with a particular emphasis on the LGBTQ community.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create coordinated treatment plans for patients.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of clinic policies, clinical protocols, continuous quality improvement standards, and program monitoring.
  • Work alongside administrative personnel and the Medical Director to introduce innovative care approaches and comply with various accrediting standards.
  • Establish strong partnerships with community providers, especially referral sources and the hospital where the physician will hold privileges.
  • Stay informed on LGBTQ health, primary care, and HIV/AIDS topics through reading, attending conferences, lectures, and other educational opportunities.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient health outcomes.
  • Serve as a collaborating physician for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on the team.
  • Exhibit unconditional positive regard towards clients and prioritize exceptional customer service in all job functions.
  • Continuously enhance cultural competency, demonstrating understanding, awareness, and respect for diversity in interactions with staff, patients, and the community.
  • Foster a positive work environment by showing unconditional positive regard to all employees and interns, while respecting diversity.
  • Perform additional medical center and pharmacy-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Ohio.
  • Federal DEA license.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Strong passion for and cultural competency in serving LGBTQ patients.
  • Ability to obtain credentialing and privileges from the Board.
  • Excellent bedside manner and dedication to customer service.
  • Availability to provide clinic coverage one Saturday morning per month and select evenings each week.
  • Sensitivity to and competence in cultural differences, HIV/AIDS, minority health, and experience working with people of color and LGBTQ communities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications; experience with Epic is preferred, along with the ability to learn new technologies and design tools.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required.
Working Conditions

Background checks and reference verifications will be conducted. In line with our Drug-Free Workplace Policy, pre-employment drug testing will be required. Work hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends based on workload. Compensation and Benefits
