Valle Verde is seeking an exceptional Community Life Director to lead and inspire our residents in achieving their Best Life. This pivotal role goes beyond traditional activities coordination—it's about shaping a culture of growth, well-being, and empowerment for older adults of all abilities.

The Director of Community Life oversees the development and implementation of programming that engages residents to create experiences that inspire their best lives, and promotes/engages team members and residents in our "Best Life" philosophy. What is "Best Life?" Best Life is a unique and holistic dementia care approach that helps people and organizations support those living with dementia to live rich and rewarding lives!

** Full Time ** Monday - Friday ** $85,000 to $99,000/year (DOE)

  • A servant leader who coaches a team to achieve these goals within every area of the community – independent living, assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing.
  • A person-directed approach toward resident engagement in our new, innovative model of long-term care: four, 8-person small house homes for those who need skilled nursing care.

To be successful in the role, you would have:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, recreation therapy, aging, business, or related field, preferred.
  • Three to Five years of prior related experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
