OBGYN Laborist Physician - Flexible Schedule, Potential Academic Teaching Opportunity

Our organization, one of the largest healthcare networks in Central Ohio, is in search of a committed OBGYN Laborist Physician to join our team and deliver outstanding care within a collaborative, patient-centered atmosphere.

• Employment Status: 0.9 FTE
• Schedule Options:
  • Standard:Three 12-hour shifts weekly
  • Optional:One 24-hour shift plus one 12-hour shift for those who prefer extended work periods
• No Outpatient Responsibilities: Concentrate solely on inpatient obstetrics and gynecology
• Hospital Locations:
  • Mount Carmel St. Ann's - (OSU OB/GYN residents) - Level III nursery, approximately 3,500 deliveries annually
  • Mount Carmel East - (Nurse Midwives) - Level III nursery, around 2,000 deliveries per year
  • Mount Carmel Grove City - (OSU OB/GYN residents) - Level II, about 1,500 deliveries each year
• Team Environment: Collaborate with skilled OBGYNs, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists
• 24/7 MFM Support: Ongoing maternal-fetal medicine coverage for intricate cases
• Academic Affiliation: A willingness to teach and mentor residents is essential through our collaboration with the OSU OBGYN Residency at either the Mt. Carmel St. Ann's or Mt. Carmel Grove City campuses.
