Expected Work Schedule

This is a full-time role with the following hours:

• Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM (subject to change)
• Some holidays will be required

Compensation

• Starting at $27/hour,based on experience and licensure

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in maxillofacial examinations for thorough assessments of teeth, oral cavity, jaws, and adjacent structures
• Prepare patients and dental equipment, ensuring safety, sterility, and proper setup
• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during dental and surgical procedures
• Support advanced periodontal procedures, endodontic therapy, prosthodontic procedures, periodontal surgery, and oral surgery
• Educate clients on oral health care, post-procedure instructions, and preventive measures

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing
• Experience in assisting with veterinary dentistry is preferred
• Strong abilities in anesthesia monitoring, patient handling, clinical support, and dental imaging
• Excellent communication skills with both team members and pet owners
• Confidence in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
• Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) is a plus
• A positive attitude and dedication to compassionate care
