Are you a reliable Machine Operator candidate with experience seeking a new opportunity? This full-time, temp-to-hire machine operator opportunity with an Innovative plastic and metal Manufacturer could be a great fit for you.
This company is well-known for producing efficient products in the plastic molding field. They produce as all sort of knobs and handles.

Machine Operating Duties:
- Perform molding operations using standardized methods and procedures.
- Fill mold cavities with powder or preforms.
- Operate controls to:
- Close the mold by pressing designated buttons.
- Cure parts for a predetermined time (typically 1 to 5 minutes).
- Open the mold and remove parts.
- Clean molds of castings and flash using an air gun.
- Visually inspect products and repeat the cycle as needed.
- Place inserts or pins into molds before loading powder or preforms, as required.
- Use core pins to set molds and reuse them for each cycle.
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift
- Monday to Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm (overtime based on production needs)
Pay:
Machine Operating Requirements:
- Previous metal manufacturing experience preferred.
- Follow standard quality procedures when provided.
- Visually inspect parts for defects according to quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in material waste, scrap, cosmetic defects, and/or process efficiency.
- Recommend, implement, and support improvements in cycle time.
- Willing to perform additional duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
