Automotive Transmission Rebuilder

Are you an experienced Transmission Mechanic looking for a long-term career? Here's your chance. Ambassador Personnel has partnered with a local Transmission shop that is looking for a Transmission Rebuild Mechanic.

Position Overview: As a transmission rebuilder, you will be in charge of diagnosing transmission and drivetrain problems as well as properly rebuilding transmissions and transfer cases. Being a team member of a franchised location that is locally owned, you will have access to support systems from vehicle data technology, a technical support hotline, and e-learning. Most importantly – you’ll be a part of helping customers get back on the road safely. Ensuring customers are satisfied, safe, and road-ready when they leave the repair center.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of transmission rebuilding experience
• Have a quality set of tools
• Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience on domestic and import vehicles (both early and late model)
• Capable of assuming responsibility
• High school diploma or GED
