<p><b>Apply for tomorrow’s opportunity today, with Volt</b> </p> <p><b>Volt is immediately hiring for Structured Cabling Technician in Greenville, SC.</b></p> <ul> <li>Position type: Full Time, Contract</li> <li>Duration: 6 + months Contract-to-Hire</li> <li>Location: Greenville, SC</li> </ul> <p><b>As a Structured Cabling Technician, you will:</b></p> <ul> <li>Day-to-day: Install, service, maintain, repair & alter cabling to include twisted pair, coax, low voltage, CAT6, single & multi-mode fiber optic, communications, and/or other various low-voltage cable systems.</li> <li>Perform physical installation and removal of:</li> <li>Run and manage structured cabling (fiber + copper)</li> <li>Lead smaller jobs or job segments on-site</li> <li>Read and execute blueprints and construction drawings</li> <li>Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure issues</li> <li>Perform repairs and system adjustments as needed</li> <li>Ensure quality control and safety standards are followed</li> <li>Travel to job sites and transport tools/equipment</li> <li>Collaborate with team and occasionally mentor lower-level techs</li> </ul> <p><b>This is a Full-time, Contract to Hire opportunity.</b></p> <p><b>Required Skills & Experience</b></p> <ul> <li>1–3+ years of structured cabling experience (Level 2 caliber)</li> <li>Strong physical install experience (racks, pathways, cable trays, infrastructure)</li> <li>Can read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specs</li> <li>Experience installing and terminating: CAT6 / CAT6A</li> <li>Fiber (termination + splicing preferred)</li> <li>Proven experience with: Cable routing (j-hooks, bundles, pathways)</li> <li>Through-wall penetrations</li> <li>Can lead small projects or take ownership on-site</li> <li>Experience with testing: Cable certifier setup + results upload</li> <li>Troubleshooting and repair experience in cabling systems</li> <li>Knowledge of industry standards:</li> <li>BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, NEC</li> <li>Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay Rate: $30.00 - $37.00 Per hour </b></p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
