Licensed Practical Nurse – Central City, Kentucky

Local Pay: $ 37.50/hour

Travel Pay:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $18.02, Stipend (Lodging $539 + M&I $266.00) = $805.00,

Total Comp :$1,453.72

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

  • 12 hour- Night

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

  • Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

  • Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

  • Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedKentucky license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as aLPN.

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (Healthcare Provider BLS certification; TB screening with negative PPD, QuantiFERON-TB Gold, or T-SPOT results; Hepatitis B Consent/Declination Form; and proof of Rubella, Rubeola, and Varicella vaccination or titers ).
