Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, strengths, and needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), across various formats such as individual, group, and family settings.
- Facilitate daily therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and skill-building workshops, helping to enhance coping strategies and resilience.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care and effective treatment planning.
- Assist patients and their families in understanding mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team that prioritize patient goals and recovery pathways, adjusting strategies as necessary based on progress.
