Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor for Emotional Intelligence Counseling Center

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative and compassionate team at the Emotional Intelligence Counseling Center. This position is designed for flexible, remote work, allowing you to provide counseling from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a strong connection with your colleagues and clients. Our outpatient office setting supports a collaborative atmosphere, where regular virtual team meetings foster communication, sharing of best practices, and integration of new therapeutic approaches.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations that form the foundation of an effective treatment plan, allowing for a clear understanding of each client's mental health needs and goals.


• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions through video calls, addressing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.


• Lead engaging couples and family therapy sessions aimed at improving relationship dynamics, resolving communication issues, and managing conflicts that arise within family structures.


• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic goals, interventions, and methods tailored to their unique circumstances.


• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for clients in acute distress, employing therapeutic techniques to stabilize and reassess their conditions promptly.


• Educate clients and their families about mental health concerns, imparting coping strategies and resources that facilitate ongoing support beyond therapy sessions.


• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.


• Uphold ethical guidelines and legal requirements pertinent to the practice of counseling, ensuring the protection of client confidentiality and informed consent throughout the therapeutic process.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.


• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.


• Proven clinical experience and competence in delivering effective counseling services.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective interaction with clients and other team members.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
