Clinical Mental Health Internship - Remote Telehealth Position

This internship is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions and collaborate with team members from the comfort of your home. • Conduct therapy sessions via telehealth with individual clients and therapy groups, applying evidence-based techniques that promote healing and growth.


• Collaborate with your supervisor to create and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect clients' unique challenges and goals.


• Maintain detailed documentation of all services provided in accordance with established legal and clinical standards, ensuring compliance and quality care.


• Participate in regular clinical supervision meetings to discuss case progress, receive constructive feedback, and enhance your therapeutic skills.


• Adapt and modify treatment goals based on ongoing client feedback, demonstrating responsiveness to client needs and outcomes.

Your intern role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. You will develop skills in understanding various cultural backgrounds, fostering inclusive treatment approaches tailored to meet the needs of each client effectively.

• A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.


• An active intern license in the state of Washington (e.g., LMHCA, MFT Intern).


• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport in a clinical outpatient setting.


• Exemplary organizational skills, with a keen attention to clinical details and documentation practices.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or therapy, either through practicum, internships, or professional roles.


• Experience with telehealth platforms and a solid understanding of how to deliver effective therapy virtually.
