• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses.


• Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect each client's unique goals and needs, incorporating individual, couples, and group therapy modalities.


• Employ crisis intervention strategies to support clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring timely and effective response to emergencies.


• Document and maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal standards to ensure confidentiality.


• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client’s health.


• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, providing advocacy as needed to support their rights and needs.


• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and education to stay abreast of the latest best practices in mental health therapy.

Life Well Counseling Center serves a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a range of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your role will involve addressing a full spectrum of concerns while fostering a safe and supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Massachusetts.


• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctoral degree.


• At least two years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health therapy.


• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop robust treatment plans.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.


• Capacity to work both independently and as part of an integrated treatment team.


• Dedication to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all professional interactions.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting providing individual and group therapy.
