Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining a team-oriented atmosphere. As part of our outpatient office model, you will utilize advanced telehealth technology to conduct sessions, thus ensuring that clients receive the same high level of care and attention as they would in a traditional office environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews, documenting all relevant information from the initial consultation through to the end of treatment.
  • Design individualized treatment and recovery plans for clients, considering their unique needs as individuals, couples, families, or groups.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs and facilitating effective discussions regarding therapeutic goals.
  • Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Coordinate care by collaborating closely with psychiatrists, healthcare providers, and other mental health professionals to form integrated treatment plans.
  • Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges, ensuring clients remain focused on their recovery paths.
  • Support family members and primary caregivers by providing them with resources and strategies to address and manage mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and more. Our approach emphasizes individual dignity and respect, allowing clients to express their needs and preferences openly. By providing tailored interventions, you will play a crucial role in promoting recovery and enhancing the overall mental well-being of your clients.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a warm, empathetic approach to client interaction.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience as a mental health counselor, with a focus on individual and group therapy.
  • Familiarity with the latest developments in psychotherapy and best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • Experience working with clients who have co-occurring disorders or underlying physical and emotional health conditions.
  • An understanding of the effects of pharmaceutical treatment prescribed by medical specialists related to mental health.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
