Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring that each approach meets their unique needs.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

  • Collaborate with a team of psychiatric professionals, social workers, and community advocates to deliver comprehensive client care.

  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development workshops to stay informed about advancements in mental health care and integrate new methodologies into practice.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients to facilitate their therapeutic journey and track their progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on serving individuals and families in the Pahrump area who may have limited access to traditional mental health services. This includes but is not limited to clients facing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in helping these clients navigate their mental health struggles and achieve improved emotional well-being.

Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada is a must.

  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, is necessary.

  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
