Work EnvironmentThis position allows for remote work, providing flexibility and work-life balance. You will engage with young clients and their families in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. The remote setting allows you to utilize telehealth technologies and virtual platforms to conduct evaluations and deliver interventions while remaining closely connected with your team and clients. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children eligible for early intervention services.
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to tailor interventions to the specific needs of each child and family.
- Monitor child and family outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring progress is tracked and strategies adjusted as necessary.
- Provide education, resources, and emotional support to families to foster healthy developmental outcomes for their child.
- Adhere to all Federal and State regulations, maintaining compliance in all areas of service delivery.
- Utilize evidence-based practices that respect the diverse learning styles of each child and family.
- Implement IFSPs with precision based on developmental status and family priorities, recommending service frequency accordingly.
- Utilize coaching models and natural environment teaching methods to enhance learning experiences both at home and in the community.
- Foster relationships with children, families, and colleagues to establish a nurturing and productive environment.
This position focuses primarily on supporting children, particularly infants and toddlers, who present with developmental delays or disabilities. By addressing the unique needs of this age group, our LCSWs play a crucial role in shaping positive trajectories for these children and their families. Your work will have a direct and lasting impact on the physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills of these young clients.
Qualifications- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.
- Valid driver’s license to facilitate travel as required.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and intervention strategies.
- Ability to cultivate a trusting rapport with children and families.
- A minimum of one year of professional experience working directly with children and families in early intervention settings.
- Experience with Natural Learning Environment Practices is highly preferred.
